Nelly Korda is the first reigning world No. 1 to win the US Women’s Open since 2013 when Inbee Park accomplished the feat.
She’s also the first player since Park in 2013 to win the first two majors of a single LPGA season.
Korda now has won 19 times on the LPGA Tour with Sunday becoming the first time she has held the U.S. Women’s Open trophy.
