According to Baseball Almanac, the definition of a “June Swoon” is the falling apart after Memorial Day of a team that got off to a good start in April and May. That definition fits the Cincinnati Reds this year. After a good start the Reds went 9-17 in the month of June and fell to 39-45 on the season.
